What is the purpose of "Linked In" the networking tool on-line? So you can count your business associates or people you passed once on the street and nodded to just to be polite?

Sorry Linked In people who invited me to join their network, the answer is a polite no. Call me instead and we can communicate the old-fashioned way.

Back to school

This afternoon I start a bi-weekly class at RCTC college
entitled "the World of Drumming"

Will the other students notice I am old and clueless? Probably.
Will I care? not a lick!

I have my sock-monkey lunch box and my new shiny backpack but wisely
have decided not to bring those along.

The class has a concert in May and you dear blog reader will be invited!

miss smiley guys

The reason I have not blogged much in the past year is not that I am lazy or dull but because without inserting smiley guys it just isn't as much fun!

Yes, I know that real blogs don't use smiley guys but I can't pretend this is a real blog since I have never offered any advice, recipes or bared my soul unless it was disguised as humor.

Hey I am probably just writing to myself anyway and I am okay with that :- )

Last night Lola and her husband came over and brought appetizers, wine and the entree. We had a great dinner, played a fun game called "fact or fiction" purchased at Savers for $2.00 and they left by 8:15 p.m. The lively Snyder's know how to live life to the fullest!

New Year = More Blogging

Yes, the title of this post made me laugh too... So did reading my "about me" from last year.

Last year my husband and I made several improvements on our home, sold it thanks to Shawn Buryska and bought and settled in a lovely one level town home still in the NW part of Rochester. We have the same jobs, the same friends (and some new ones) a wonderful new church home and thankfully the same wacky sense of humor which gets us through occasionally stressful times.

Since I didn't make any New Years resolutions I won't have any to break. I am continuing to seek new ways to have fun which this year will include taking a drumming class at RCTC, participating in a flash mob at in ice bar this winter and learning how to sit still long enough to make bright and colorful hand-made cards!
