Giant Sock Monkey

Not long ago a friend told me their 5 year old daughter asked "Is Vicki a kid or a grown-up?" The Dad replied "a little bit of both."

On Christmas Day the family of the astute child and her lively siblings popped over to give us a... Giant Sock Monkey!

At first the other monkeys didn't know what to make of him...a few whispered things like "wow, he's a giant weirdo" but after they got to know him he was accepted into the sock monkey family.

Maxx is 3 and half feet tall and is number 48 in our constantly growing collection.

I'm going to put Maxx in the front seat of my car this week and drive around town with him just for fun.

Hopefully, people will laugh and wave and just for a few moments be distracted long enough to forget about the bone-chilling temperatures.
